Our clients wanted to open a high-quality French brasserie in a building on the historic quay at Topsham.

In view of the sensitive nature of the site and the significant, but largely unfounded, concerns of local residents, we prepared an application under the Licensing Act 2003 that would allow the use of the building for the sale of alcohol and the provision of live and recorded music
